Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CommitFlow (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including individual users and users accessing the Service through an organization or team.

2. Description of Service

CommitFlow is a voice-native CRM assistant that integrates with Salesforce to help sales professionals update their CRM, manage their pipeline, and close more deals. The Service provides:

  • Voice AI Assistant: Natural language voice interaction powered by OpenAI's Realtime API for hands-free CRM updates, opportunity management, task creation, and pipeline queries
  • Real-Time Salesforce Integration: Direct OAuth connection to your Salesforce organization to read and update Opportunities, Tasks, Events, Accounts, and Contacts
  • Visual CRM Dashboard: Multi-view interface including Today View (morning briefing, calendar, tasks), Pipeline View (opportunities by stage), Forecast View (deal categorization), and Tasks View
  • Deal Health Analysis: AI-powered assessment of deal risk factors including activity recency, stage duration, and missing next steps
  • Field Policy Configuration: Organization-level controls for which Salesforce fields can be viewed and updated through the Service

Features may vary based on your subscription tier and organization settings.

3. Early Access & Beta

The Service is currently in Early Access (beta). As a beta participant:

  • You understand the Service is still in development and may contain bugs or incomplete features
  • Features may be added, changed, or removed without advance notice
  • Service availability is not guaranteed during the beta period
  • You agree to provide feedback to help improve the Service
  • Beta access is provided free of charge; pricing will apply after general availability

4. User Accounts & Organizations

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

Organization Accounts: If you use the Service through an organization:

  • Your organization administrator may manage your access and permissions
  • Organization-level Salesforce credentials may be shared among authorized team members
  • Organization administrators can configure field policies that apply to all members
  • Your organization's subscription tier determines available features for all members

5. Voice AI & Audio Processing

The Service includes real-time voice interaction features. By using voice features, you acknowledge:

  • Your voice input is streamed in real-time to OpenAI's Realtime API for processing
  • Voice is transcribed and used to understand your requests and generate responses
  • Transcriptions are temporarily stored during your session to maintain conversation context
  • We do not permanently store audio recordings of your voice
  • AI responses are generated content and may occasionally be inaccurate — verify before taking CRM actions
  • Voice interaction quality depends on microphone quality, internet connection, and speech clarity
  • You will not use voice features to process information you are not authorized to share

6. Salesforce Integration

The Service connects to Salesforce via OAuth 2.0 authentication. By connecting your Salesforce account:

  • You authorize CommitFlow to access and modify Salesforce data on your behalf
  • You confirm you have appropriate permissions within your Salesforce organization
  • No Local Storage: CRM data (Opportunities, Tasks, Accounts, Contacts, Events) is fetched in real-time from Salesforce and is NOT stored on our servers
  • Actions taken through the Service (creates, updates, deletes) are performed directly on your Salesforce organization via their API
  • OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
  • You may disconnect your Salesforce integration at any time, which deletes your encrypted tokens from our servers
  • Salesforce data access respects your organization's sharing rules and field-level security

7. Subscription & Pricing

The Service offers the following subscription tiers:

  • Early Access (Free): Full access during beta for design partners — includes voice assistant, Salesforce integration, all dashboard views, and direct founder support
  • Pro ($79/seat/month): Unlimited voice sessions, real-time Salesforce updates, multi-view dashboard, deal health insights, and priority support
  • Team (Volume Pricing): Everything in Pro plus volume discounts for 5+ seats, team analytics, dedicated success manager, and custom onboarding

Billing occurs monthly. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Access Salesforce data or organizations without proper authorization
  • Process sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for legitimate sales activities
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models or proprietary technology
  • Use the Service to train competing AI systems without explicit permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or infrastructure
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without permission
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse the Service in ways that affect other users
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others through the Service

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, insights, and recommendations:

  • AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and should not be solely relied upon for business decisions
  • Deal health scores (Healthy, At Risk, Stale) are automated assessments based on activity patterns and may not reflect actual deal status
  • Forecast categorizations and pipeline recommendations are AI suggestions — you are responsible for verifying accuracy
  • Voice transcription and intent recognition may occasionally misinterpret your requests
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated analysis
  • Always verify AI suggestions before making changes to your CRM data

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, AI models, user interface, and proprietary technology, is owned by CommitFlow. You retain full ownership of your Salesforce CRM data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your Salesforce data, use it for AI training, or share it with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., sending context to OpenAI for voice processing).

11. Data & Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your information, including:

  • Voice data processing and retention
  • Salesforce integration and data handling
  • Third-party services we use
  • Your rights regarding your data

12. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and depends on third-party services:

  • Salesforce: CRM data access and modification (subject to Salesforce's Master Subscription Agreement)
  • OpenAI: Voice processing via Realtime API (subject to OpenAI's usage policies and API terms)
  • Clerk: User authentication, account management, and billing
  • MongoDB Atlas: Secure cloud database for account data
  • Vercel: Application hosting and deployment

Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party service availability, performance, changes, or terms.

13. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability, but the Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from service interruptions. During the beta period, we may perform updates or changes that require temporary downtime without advance notice.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOST SALES OR REVENUE, MISSED BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, INACCURATE AI PREDICTIONS OR RECOMMENDATIONS, ERRORS IN CRM DATA RESULTING FROM SERVICE USE, OR DATA LOSS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS OR (B) $100.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CommitFlow, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these terms, (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including Salesforce's terms of service, or (d) unauthorized access to Salesforce data through your account.

16. Termination

By You: You may stop using the Service and disconnect your Salesforce integration at any time through your account settings. For paid subscriptions, you may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your billing period.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, your Salesforce OAuth connection is revoked, and your encrypted tokens are deleted. You may request deletion of your account data as described in our Privacy Policy. Termination does not affect data in your Salesforce organization.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the Service evolves. For material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service at least 30 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.

18. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
